Did you know that many online boutiques, and some offline department stores & smaller boutiques will match a price you found online at a different store, and/or even honor another store’s discount code? Yep. Not all do, but it never hurts to ask (if you spend any time on shopping message boards and forums, you know very well the frenzies that price-matching, code-matching, and price-adjustments can cause LOL)!
My friend Jordana from Clutch22 recently demonstrated her fabulous price-matching skills at Nordstrom on a pair of Dolce Vita shoes she found cheaper using a code from shoes.com. She succeeded in getting them for 20% off at Nordstrom, but then I found her a coupon code for Dolce Vita for 25% off – and challenged her to go in for a price adjustment. And here she goes:
