Grechen, I cannot pass up the cashmere weekend v-neck, as I know I will wear it a ton – over a tank with jeans or leggings or even a short JP skirt with tights and boots.

I’m asking for your help with color, though. I have Inhabit cashmere pieces in every shade of gray, brown and blue, and am seriously considering the YELLOW. Wouldn’t that be fun for spring? Have you ever seen/owned an Inhabit piece in yellow? I’m totally unsure of what to expect – buttery, sunshiny, lemony, etc. If you know, or if anyone else here knows, please share. I’m planning to order today before they’re all gone!

    Thanks. xo Susan

i usually do a quick google search for colors, but can’t find anything this time…it looks like a nice light yellow, very flattering – but as we know, color swatches on the inhabit site do not always translate well IRL. i have a cotton cardigan that’s a nice deep yellow (here it is in an outfit recently), but i think the cashmere would be different. sorry i can’t help more!! i’ve always treated inhabit colors as taking a chance though, but i’ve always been pleased with them when i get them…

Grechen, do you have any of their stretch wool sweaters? I’m eyeing the cardigan but am undecided since I haven’t felt the fabric in real life! 😀 Also, do their sizes run true, small or big? Thank you!

i don’t have any of the stretch wool – i find the sizing to be pretty true, unless it’s marked oversized…

Thanks for your speedy response, but guess what? I waited too long… by the time I checked out, it was out of stock. 🙁

I’ll have to wait for the next Inhabit sale. I simply cannot buy any more ‘neutral’ pieces and certainly not cardigans (I counted cardis in my closet and lost interest after I got to 18). Like you, I’m only adding color to my wardrobe, and trying to stick to things I need. No more duplicates, no matter how cute they are!

      good luck with that 🙂
it’s so hard to NOT buy neutrals though – they always just “work” – but i definitely don’t need any more.
      sorry about the yellow…

    Hey Grechen –
Hope you are well. Of course I nabbed a couple of items a week or so ago when the Deep V Henley was further reduced. Got it – and it’s AWESOME! Great oversized fit, without being sloppy.
AND, have you ever thought to buy the mens items? I bought a v-neck cashmere/cotton blend long sleeve shirt in a size SMALL and the sleeves are long, which really doesn’t bother me a bit. Again, it’s an oversized fit, but not sloppy. Hmmm, must really be “into’ this look right now. As for a “look” – you are looking fine!

what an interesting idea to try men’s items! i wouldn’t have thought of that. of course, sleeves are always very long on me anyway, men’s sleeves may be too much to handle!! i’ll look into it though, thanks!

    Grechen –
I’m like you – sleeves are ALWAYS too long for me, unless they are 3/4!! HA!
So, I’m used to pulling up my sleeves, so the menswear option may work for you as well…..just a though 🙂

AND Grechen, looks like your yellow sweater is the Beeswax color……
I have a cotton long sleeve v-neck in this color and love it.
